Good News!

I'm going to be a grand mom again! Well with having eight children you would guess this happens quite frequently, and it does. My son and his wife are expecting their third this winter. This is a picture of their oldest, isn't she adorable? No due date yet, but I'll keep you posted.

I have lots of baby blankets to crochet, diaper bags to sew, announcements to stitch, and quilts to make. C ya soon, Robin.

HAPPY EASTER!

Today is going to be busy day, visiting families and eating a wonderful Easter dinner! My mother-in-law is a great cook. I'll try to get some stitching in. I need to finish a project, ASAP! Hope this Easter is the best ever! Robin.

Thinking Summer

Waiting for the hot summer days, cool breezes, and the sound of the ocean! This is a pic of Indian River, Delaware. We spend a lot of time there swimming, fishing, and just sitting. I can't tell you how many cross stitch and quilt projects I have enjoyed working on sitting by the Atlantic Ocean. Lots of memories and ready to make more. C ya, Robin.

Here is an awesome way to recycle old blue jeans. Allpeoplequilt gives you the directions to make a quilt out of your old jeans. You could also make yourself a wall hanging or give as a gift. So many things to do! With so many people laid-off or completely out of work, this is a way to do some quilting without costing tons of money!

Another Treasure

Found this last week at a thrift store. It has a sticker that says Japan on the bottom. I've seen it several times in this area. I found it so that means it's great! I'll add it to my teapot collection.

My mom found this sampler at a yard sale last year. She had it hidden in a room in her basement, now it's in my kitchen! Can't wait to see what she finds this year. Well there's more to find, see you later, Robin.
